CULPRIT ACCORDING TO THE PRINCIPLES -
The
Helvetian bank sinned against the interests of all the Americans.
When we consider the
economic problems due to the frauds, the scale is considerable, the
consequences also. A federal arrangement can include the individual rights
until the level of the citizen ?
However, when we
take into account the reliable level which existed, the bank took advantage
of it to deceive in a systematic way. It is unbearable and liable to
penalty. UBS deceived deliberately every American. Such a scale owes
probably concerned more than an institution.
The Swiss
could not so ignore what was made in the illegality.
The presence of the
State at the highest level in the negotiations is a sufficient
(self-important) proof.
The
American treasury has to go in the depths of the affair (business).
Switzerland
cannot be considered as an appropriate (clean) State in the relations as in
the principles. The question which remains justifiable is : what she (it)
would not have made and, during how long ? What would be the price (prize)
for us ?
When the Swiss exults at
home to have made a success of a big diplomatic blow in the negotiations, it
demonstrates their level of bad faith. It is necessary to take into account
it, it is a great disappointment. Our country has the duty to search farther
to know if this fraud got (touched) the other friendly countries.
Otherwise this pendulum
could return to us by circumstance. It is thus the law of the rigour.
